This week’s post will be short—I’m doing lots of work behind the scenes to get the rest of the website and the content starter kit ready for you (read more about both and what else is coming up right here!).

But I did want to pop in and tell you about something fun I’m doing next week! Jamie, the amazing designer behind Spruce Rd., has invited me to lead one of her awesome Lunch + Learn live workshops, which, as she explains, "bring together fellow creatives for an intimate discussion of design tips, interviews with creatives, as well as other resources to add to your skill set. The goal of the series is to provide support for one another, and to be open about the tips that we have learned along the way! I hope that you guys find the series useful, and look forward to joining in on the discussion.”

So next Thursday, September 3, at 12pm Central, I’ll be joining Jamie (and hopefully you!) on a live workshop (webinar-style) to talk about Uncovering Your Core Message.

We’ll talk about what exactly a core message is and why it’s important, and then I’ll lead you through an exercise to start working on your own. Once we're done, there will be plenty of time for questions!
