Coming Down, Ramping Up, and Giving Thanks
Launching something is a lot of work. And when it’s over, there are a lot of emotions. Elation that it’s done, fear that “everyone” will hate it (a great response to that over on Braid Creative), anticipation about what’s next, and exhaustion (which isn’t necessarily an emotion but certainly hits hard).
And then on Monday, I spent the day connecting with a bunch of creatives, led by the always-inspiring Whitney English. At exactly the right time for me, I got out of the smaller picture (the nitty-gritty details of launching) and got right into the big picture (where content coaching is going and how I can best serve you). So this week has been a bit of a jumble for me as I capture my long-term plans but also find specific, small ways to implement them.
All that is to say that my brain is such a jumble, I haven’t been doing as much writing in layers and sharing what I know. But after launching last week, I got an incredible amount of support from you guys—on Instagram, on Twitter, by email, and in the comments on the post—and I didn’t want to let this jumbled-up week end without saying THANK YOU SO MUCH. You made every second of work and worry completely and totally worth it!
I’ll be taking a posting break for Thanksgiving next week (though I’ll be writing some exciting things behind the scenes—stay tuned!), but will be back in this space the following week to tell you what to expect from this blog in more detail, and to get back into the groove of sharing how you can create content (and a life and business) with meaning!
Thanks again for your support, and have a wonderful holiday with your family.
P.S. Today is the first day this post will also go out by email. If you'd like to get posts by email, you can learn more about it and sign up right here!
